Re-Verber-Ray “DX3L Series” Infrared Radiant Heater

The Re-Verber-Ray DX3L Series is a great choice for many applications. This gas-fired infrared radiant tube heater belongs to the Premier family, which also includes the MP and the HL3. The DX3L is built to last and exceed expectations. Let’s explore the features it shares with other heaters and what makes the DX3L Series different from the competition.

Operating Technology

First, the DX3L is a single-stage heater that provides efficient and powerful heat. The heater will turn on when signaled by the thermostat and shoot a flame down the first tube, or combustion chamber. The DX3L provides powerful radiant heat for your space and will still satisfy your heating needs while maintaining a comfortable temperature.

Quality Materials

The DX3L Series is constructed with quality materials and solid craftsmanship. The heater comes with aluminized steel tubes coated in a 95% emissive black paint. Highly polished aluminum reflectors add to the overall efficiency by reflecting the radiant heat down to the floor. Heat sinks into the objects at ground level and is re-radiated back into the space.

The DX3L has an input range of 50,000-200,000 BTU’s, and is available in lengths from 20 to 80 feet. Fueled by natural gas or propane, the DX3L has self-diagnostic LED lights for troubleshooting from the ground level. You can access the burner box without any tools which makes maintenance easy. A specially designed stainless-steel burner, control, and gas valve components are housed inside the burner box in separated compartments.

Flexibility

The Re-Verber-Ray line is extremely flexible and can fit most any space thanks to a wide selection of available customizations and accessories. If a straight tube layout won’t work, consider a L-shape layout with a 90-degree elbow. You could also use a U-bend add-on to create a U-shaped layout for maximum heat in a focused area. Achieve “heat throw” with brakets to angle the heater and side shield extensions to bounce the heat away from walls or equipment.
